We are so excited about this unique beer. We are calling it a Beet Kvass and the inspiration is drawn from a historical Russian beer style and the name comes from a Dostoyevsky classic. This beer represents all that Benchtop is. From the science to carefully cultivate a lactobacillus culture, to the local farmers (Cullipher Farm ) that grew the beets, the local baker (The Bakehouse at Chelsea) that baked the sourdough rye bread, and the local restaurant (Field Guide) that helped us by prepping and roasting the beets. Karnage Asada will serving up their delicous eats as well.
